Hi!
Our team were recently in Wales testing the new Mongolia gear.
It was hot.
The hottest day of the year so far I think.
Over 30°C.
Thomas is editing the film of the trip, we hope it will be ready for you soon.

Today I want to tell you about two of the bikes.
(And a third that wasn't actually on the trip.)
They were all kitted out with our new Hard Parts.
This was the last shakedown before putting them into production.
The last chance to learn about any niggles.
The last chance to see what happens when we crash them.
We are about to hit the big fat GO button at the factory.
It will take a little while to make this first batch, but I wanted to let you know they are on the way.
I'll keep you in the loop with launch timings.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
Hard Parts in production:
- Bashplate + low crash bars
- Side luggage rack
- Rear top luggage rack
- Rally Tower Faring + Screen + Nav Mount
- Front indicator brackets
Yes it's heavy on the side stand, but get it going and it tractors up almost everything you point it at. Our Rally Tower Fairing plus the big Acerbis tank dramatically change the look of the Himi 450. Our team spent a long time working on lower engine protection that is truly capable of off road adventure. We've applied our signature luggage carrying approach to our rear racks with a few neat little tweaks to make it even easier to mount Kriega and Mosko luggage.
The CF Moto 450 MT.
Hard Parts in production:
- Bashplate
- Crash bars
- Side luggage rack
- Rear top luggage rack
- Nav Mount
- Tail tidy
They say it's a baby T700, so it makes sense that we give it the T700 Hard Parts treatment. Our tried and tested crash protection is designed to protect the essentials, and our luggage racks have been updated with the same tweaks as the Himi, making it easier than ever to mount soft panniers. Our unique nav mount feels OEM and integrates perfectly with the adjustable screen.
The Kove 450.
Hard Parts in production:
- Bashplate
- Rear top luggage rack
The hardest of the bunch to work on. Our aluminium bashplate looks OEM but is far more durable than the carbon fibre version the bike ships with. The rear top luggage rack is neat and provides plenty of mounting points. We couldn't get side luggage racks to work well enough. There's a longer story to tell in another email about why.
These new hard parts are due to launch towards the end of the year.
