Hi!
A little while ago this message popped up on our Helpdesk...
Dear Fellows, hello once more.
As I mentioned in my previous email, I am a recent owner of 2nd-hand T700 Rally. So, I personally find the tool kit offered from Yamaha underneath the seat, quite incomplete. Anyhow, trusting your experience and expertise, I would like to ask for your suggestions for the extra tools you would consider as compulsory, for short, let's say beginners', adventure rides.
I thank you again in advance for the time and help, and I am looking forward to receiving your comments. Take care, and have a pleasant evening.
Best regards,
Stavros
It got me thinking.
Our team spend so much time looking forward, designing, testing and refining new gear, it's easy to forget that we are all at different stages of our adventure motorcycling journey.
It's lovely that Stavros felt that he could lean on us to share a little bit of our expertise. We've all been there, fixing our first puncture on the trail, un-drowning a hydro-locked piston, or just dealing with a loose chain.
There's no right or wrong tool kit, there's just your tool kit. And the chances are, it's constantly evolving.
I shared Stavros' question with the Adventure Spec team. Here's what they came up with...
