Mongolia ITB Pant 2.0 Storm
The Mongolia ITB Pant 2.0 is a CE AA in-the-boot (ITB) motorcycle pant/trouser designed for adventure, rally, trail and dual sport riding where comfort, longevity and protection are all key considerations. Tough 1000D ballistic nylon provides abrasion protection and removable Flow level 2 knee and hip armour provide impact protection. Large zippered thigh vents for extreme cooling in hot environments.
Available in white for maximum cooling or black for a more toned down look. Also available in an Over-The-Boot version.
Weight with armour (size 34R) = 1714g / 59oz.
Weight without armour (size 34R) = 1210g / 42oz.
Note: The Mongolia ITB Pant 2.0 is the successor to the original Atacama Pant.
A Dakar classic, reimagined for the road.
The original Mongolia and Atacama Jackets were designed to help Lyndon Poskitt complete the Dakar Rally (twice). Lyndon tackled tough off road stages, but also needed to ride thousands of road miles on liaison sections. For 2025 we've updated the Mongolia Jacket and Pant 2,0, taking all the tech we developed for tough rallying and adapting it to make it more suitable for CE AA adventure touring.
Built for adventure, rally and trails.
The Mongolia OTB Pant 2.0 is designed for long distance adventure touring and trail riding. It's tough, light and extremely comfortable. Stretch panels make it easy to swing your leg over your bike and abrasion resistant fabric and Flow armour provide CE AA protection.

The deep dive.
Everything you might want to know about the Mongolia Jacket & Pant 2.0.
CE AA Rated.
Highly abrasion resistant 1000D ballistic nylon is used across the entire pant, complimented by stretch panels to aid movement. Removable Flow level 2 armour is included in the knees and hips for impact protection.
In-The-Boot.
This is the In-The-Boot (ITB) version of the Mongolia Pant 2.0. The leg tapers to above the ankle and is extremely comfortable when worn with adventure or MX style boots.
Its streamlined design is favoured by focused riders who desire maximum performance with minimal bulk.
Thomas also wears the Mongolia Jacket 2.0 Storm.
Or Over-The-Boot?
The Mongolia Pant 2.0 is also available in the Over-The-Boot OTB version which features a huge lower leg closure mechanism designed for large boots.
The OTB pant is favoured by adventure riders who want more versatility out of their pant. The OTB closure works well at keeping dust, water and debris out of boots.

Air in.
Huge thigh intake vents make cooling a breeze when riding in hot weather.
Air out.
Rear exhaust vents promote even more airflow.
Level 2 Flow armour.
New Adventure Spec Level 2 hip and knee armour. Softer, lighter, more flexible, more breathable.
Oversized knee protection.
The Mongolia ITB and OTB Pant 2.0 ships with removable softer, longer Flow knee armour that starts over your knee and extends right down to your shin.
This is designed to offer maximum protection that adventure riders require. When you kneel down on rough ground it provides a soft cushion for your knee.
Zips into the Mongolia Jacket 2.0.
For added safety, a rear zip allows the Mongolia Jacket 2.0 to be zipped into the Mongolia ITB and OTB Pant 2.0. Stretch fabric helps aid the zip action.
Removable armour.
Knee and hip armour is easily removable.
Stretch comfort.
Large stretch panels in the crotch, thigh and behind the knees make movement easy and comfortable. No problems stretching your leg to get on and off the bike.

Three part laminate performance.
The outer fabric offers high levels of abrasion resistance and durability, it is constructed from tough nylon 6-6 using a maximum 1000 denier thread.
The middle membrane is created with a layer of hydrophilic PU film, offering high levels of wind resistance.
The PU layer is water resistant, however the Mongolia Trail Pant is not waterproof as it is not seam taped.
The inner fabric is constructed from a lightweight wicking protective layer to offer comfort against skin.
These layers create a high performing fabric, uniquely designed and manufactured by Adventure Spec for lightweight adventure riding.
Knee brace friendly.
The knee box is a relaxed fit. Remove the supplied knee armour and use your own knee brace with a comfortable fit.
Ben also wears the Baltic Hybrid Jacket.
Won't degrade in the wash.
The Mongolia pant features heat resistant Hypalon fabric on the inside knee and inner leg. This has similar qualities to leather but will not shrink or crack in the wash.

Moisture wicking.
The demands of riding off road can mean you could be working hard one minute and stationary the next.
The inner mesh of the Mongolia ITB Pant 2.0 is designed to maintain comfort in these extremes by absorbing moisture away from your body and quickly wicking it across its surface.
When riding the evaporation of this moisture from the lining in the breeze will help cool the body, when stationary the evaporation takes places away from skin reducing the cooling effect.
Mobile friendly.
Large thigh pockets are perfect for your mobile phone or wallet.

Black or white.
The Mongolia Jacket and Pant 2.0 in storm colour (white) was developed in response to customer requests for riding kit that would help minimise heat absorption in very hot and sunny conditions, much like the white robes that beduin travellers use in the desert. The black version is for those who require a more toned down look.
Mix and match.
Both black and storm jackets and pants can be mixed and matched.
